RB Derrius Guice is saying all the right things as he transitions from College ball to pro ball for the upcoming 2018 season.
Playing in D.C., or relatively close to it, has its perks and it was just a matter of time before someone brought up the question about Donald Trump. The Washington Redskins rookie RB touched down at LAX for an NFLPA Rookie Premiere event, when he was stopped by a TMZ cameraman and stated he wouldn’t be opposed to Donald Trump attending his games.
When asked if he would visit the White House if the Washington Redskins won the Super Bowl, he had this to say:
“If I get the chance, yeah. That’s the chance of a lifetime,” Guice said … “They got a lot of history in that White House.”
Trump might not be the candidate Guice wanted, but he holds no ill will towards the President at all.
“I mean he’s running this country. Whatchu want me to do, hate a guy who’s running this country? I stay in my lane, he stay in his.”
